  6.   To install the evaluation copy of WFXAUTO follow the instructions contained
  7.   in the file README.TXT.

  9.   EVALUATION COPY LICENCE AGREEMENT

  11.   The program in this package is a product of Logical Business Systems, Inc.  
  12.   and is protected by Copyright Law.  Logical Business Systems retains title 
  13.   to and ownership of the program.  You are licenced to use the program on 
  14.   the following terms and conditions:

  16.     1.  You may use the program for a period of 30 days, without paying a
  17.         licence fee, for the purpose of evaluation.

  19.     2.  You may copy the installation disk or ZIP file and distribute it to 
  20.         your friends and colleagues for them to evaluate provided you comply 
  21.         with the following:

  23.         a)   No charge is made for providing the disk, other than a small
  24.              handling charge to cover costs.
  25.         b)   You give them a copy of this notice.
  26.         c)   All files on the disk or within the ZIP file are copied and
  27.              included on the distribution disk without alteration.
  28.         d)   All copyright notices and information remain intact.

  30.     3.  You may not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or in any way
  31.         modify the program code without the prior written consent of Logical 
  32.         Business Systems.

  34.    Logical Business Systems warrants that the program will perform in 
  35.    substantial compliance with the documentation.  If you report a problem 
  36.    to Logical Business Systems it will be examined and if necessary the 
  37.    program will be updated and a new copy issued to you.  You agree that the 
  38.    only remedy available to you will be the replacement of the program, if a 
  39.    program error was involved.

  48.   merchantability and of fitness for any purpose, other than as outlined

  59.   GENERAL DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE

  61.   Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying 
  62.   it.  If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you are 
  63.   expected to register.  Individual programs differ on details -- some 
  64.   request registration while others require it, some specify a maximum trial 
  65.   period.  With registration, you get anything from the simple right to 
  66.   continue using the software to an updated program with printed manual.

  68.   Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software, and the 
  69.   copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific exceptions as 
  70.   stated below.  Shareware authors are accomplished programmers, just like 
  71.   commercial authors, and the programs are of comparable quality.  (In both 
  72.   cases, there are good programs and bad ones!) The main difference is in 
  73.   the method of distribution.  The author specifically grants the right to 
  74.   copy and distribute the software, either to all and sundry or to a 
  75.   specific group.  For example, some authors require written permission 
  76.   before a commercial disk vendor may copy their Shareware.

  78.   Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software.  You should 
  79.   find software that suits your needs and pocketbook, whether it's 
  80.   commercial or Shareware.  The Shareware system makes fitting your needs 
  81.   easier, because you can try before you buy.  And because the overhead is 
  82.   low, prices are low also.  Shareware has the ultimate money-back guarantee 
  83.   -- if you don't use the product, you don't pay for it.

  85.   WFXAUTO is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge to the user 
  86.   for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your friends, but please do 
  87.   not give it away altered or as part of another system.  The essence of 
  88.   "user-supported" software is to provide personal computer users with 
  89.   quality software without high prices, and yet to provide incentive for 
  90.   programmers to continue to develop new products.  If you find this program 
  91.   useful and find that you are using WFXAUTO and continue to use WFXAUTO 
  92.   after the 30 day trial period, you must make a registration payment to 
  93.   Logical Business Systems or one of its authorised agents.  The 
  94.   registration fee will license one copy for use on any one computer at any 
  95.   one time.

  97.   Anyone distributing WFXAUTO for any kind of remuneration must contact 
  98.   Logical Business Systems at the address below for authorization.  This 
  99.   authorization will be automatically granted to distributors recognized by 
  100.   the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for shareware distributors and 
  101.   catalogue vendors, and such distributors may begin offering WFXAUTO 
  102.   immediately (However Logical Business Systems must still be advised so 
  103.   that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest version of 
  104.   WFXAUTO).

  106.   You are encouraged to pass a copy of WFXAUTO along to your friends for 
  107.   evaluation.  Please encourage them to register their copy if they find 
  108.   that they can use it.
